Combining a warm, analog sound experience with easy-to-use features, this turntable plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and features a switchable phono preamp that lets you connect the turntable to a home stereo, powered speakers, or other component, with or without a dedicated phono input. At the heart of the AT-LP70X is a premium phono cartridge that delivers high-fidelity audio. Built with the expertise of Audio-Technica, a leader in the phonograph cartridge industry, the AT-VM95C is a versatile, superior-performing cartridge that other turntables in this class simply can't offer. Integrated into the J-shaped tonearm, the AT-VM95C cartridge with 0.6 mil conical stylus delivers excellent channel separation and low distortion for exceptional tonal quality. To ensure maximum sound performance, the AT-LP70X includes a three-piece anti-resonant chassis that provides a solid foundation to dampen unwanted noise and improve sound quality. Noise is further reduced by the inclusion of an AC adapter that shifts the AC/DC conversion outside the chassis to limit any unfavorable noise.
