The VANTEC-18A is a powered subwoofer designed to provide a wide bass response for Vantec Series full-range systems. A 2000W peak Class D amplifier powers a long-excursion DAS model 18LX loudspeaker. This speaker incorporates a 4″ voice coil, delivering high power handling and high performance.
The VANTEC-18A subwoofer features two balanced inputs with filtered outputs for Vantec satellites. It features a switch to activate the filter, which can be cut off between 80 and 125 Hz. With the filter deactivated, the output connectors operate as loop-through outputs. A gain control and polarity inverter enhance system control. A 35 mm pole socket is included for use with wide-range satellites on the VANTEC-18A.
