Self-powered Subwoofer 3600 w EVENT-218A DAS

The EVENT-218A dual 18" powered subwoofer utilizes one of DAS's most highly regarded speaker series, the long-excursion LX series, introduced in the high-end LX-218 subs. The enclosure is designed for horizontal use, constructed from quality birch plywood, finished with an ISO-flex cover, and features a pole mount on the top panel.
The amplifier delivers 3600W peak power and offers features available on the higher-priced LX subwoofers, such as the Cardioid Preset Mode switch, which provides specific signal processing for paired systems in cardioid subwoofer applications. The system includes two balanced (AB) inputs with stereo output connectors and a 100Hz high-pass filter (HPF) for satellites. With the filter off, the output connectors operate as loop-through outputs. There is also a low-pass filter (LPF) with a variable cutoff between 80 and 125 Hz. A gain control and a polarity inverter (0°-180°) increase user control over the system.
