The DMM0016 Magnetic Mount for the 4080 is a small mount with a minimal visual appearance. It is used to mount a DPA 4080 miniature cardioid microphone to a speaker. When mounted on thin fabric, the mount provides secure and stable use of the microphone.
The DMM0016 magnetic holder is supplied with a small iron-on tag on an elasticated collar to be placed inside clothing behind the magnet.
The rubber shockmount of the 4080 Miniature Cardioid Lavalier Microphone can be easily detached from the included standard clip (DMM0014) and attached to the ball mount on the DMM0016 Magnetic Shock Mount. This unique mounting design allows the microphone to be quickly rotated to point in the direction of the speaker's mouth.
