The C02 pencil condenser microphones are small-diaphragm microphones designed to capture every nuance and characteristic of your productions. Excelling in both live and recording applications, their low-mass diaphragms employ a linear frequency response with optimal transient pickup, making the C02s perfect for miking acoustic instruments. With the ability to handle sound pressure levels up to 134 dB SPL, the C02s are ideal for use as overhead drum or cymbal mics. Packaged as a pair, the C02s are combined to have a sensitivity of within ±0.5 dB of each other. This makes them especially suitable for stereo miking applications where accuracy is critical. The C02s feature a tight cardioid polar pattern to capture audio in front of the microphone, while minimizing pickup from the sides and rear of the mics, increasing isolation and reducing feedback. All housed within a protective case, each C02 microphone comes with patented shock-mounted microphone clips to provide maximum vibration isolation while minimizing noise. Additionally, the two included foam pop filters can be installed to significantly reduce wind noise when used outdoors, or to reduce plosives in vocal applications.
