The Falcon design was influenced and road-tested by a team of artists seeking an incredibly smooth feel and simple adjustability. Settings are dialed in at the factory, so it feels right right out of the box, and only minor adjustments are needed to suit individual tastes. That means more time playing and less time tweaking. Interchangeable units (sold separately, part # ACF-DD and ACF-SD) allow players to purchase just one pedal, yet still have the freedom to experiment with the differences between chain, belt, and direct-drive feel. It also allows double-pedal drummers to use different impulses for each pedal to balance the feel between the left and right foot.
Interchangeable stirrup weights, variable stirrup height, and adjustable stirrup angle allow for simple and precise adjustment of torque and power.
The smaller size of the base plate makes it easier to place a double pedal around the snare stand legs and closer to the hi-hat pedal.
