The JRX218S is driven by a massive 18" JBL woofer with a cast frame and 3" voice coil, rated at 350W (continuous), 1400W (peak), the rugged enclosure is constructed from 19mm (0.75 inch) MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) using advanced adhesives and mechanical fastening technology for durability and improved low frequency performance and the enclosure is covered in black carpeting.
