Dynamic Delay is exactly what it says on the tin: a dynamic delay plugin. It has an internal sidechain that smooths the volume of the generated delays. Once the input audio drops below the threshold, the delays can be clearly heard. This is a trick many professional producers use, but it takes time to set up in your signal chain and usually requires a separate sidechain compressor.
