The 1967 Standard model was built around a Seymour Duncan 59/Custom Hybrid Humbucker. The ideal partner for the Custom at the bridge was a well-developed set of neck and middle pickups called the Classic Stack Plus. These have vintage-level brightness and tone, but without the typical 60-cycle hum. With some clever technological tricks, they're quiet and still sound vintage in every other way.
