While the G&L ASAT® Classic is Leo’s final word on the traditional single-cut bolt-on axe with its Magnetic Field Design single-coil pickups, the new Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Classic Alnico has arrived to combine latter-day Leo sound with uncompromising Alnico flavor. Housed in a classic boxed steel bridge, the Alnico V single-coil bridge pickup pumps out a meaty tone that’ll stop you in your tracks, while individual brass saddles upgraded by Leo for the ASAT Classic deliver modern levels of intonation refinement. Move to the Alnico V neck pickup, and you’ll find our specification delivers a fuller tone that leaves those old, anemic pickups in the dust. What’s more, the two pickups combine beautifully for an exceptionally sweet, chiming tone full of harmonics.
