The Progression Plus is a guitar that further expands on the tonal aspects of its predecessor and features two Godin GS-2 Single Coil pickups in the neck and middle positions, along with the crunch and bite of a Seymour Duncan Humbucker at the bridge.
It also features a new ergonomically rounded body, the Godin High-Definition Revoicer system, Godin Tru-Loc Trem, and a 5-ply pearloid pickguard.
The HDR (High Definition Revoicer) increases the frequency range of each pickup and allows the guitarist to switch from passive to active pickups with the touch of a button.
The HDR provides extra bite and dynamic response that redefine the character of each pickup, it's like having 2 sets of pickups in 1 guitar for 5 pure passive tones + 5 pure active tones.
