DPA's black 2028-B-SL1 supercardioid vocal condenser microphone capsule with SL1 adapter is designed for the unique challenges of live performance. It can be used to capture and deliver transparent, natural audio for stage, theater, and live broadcast applications.
The 2028's supercardioid condenser capsule offers a flat off-axis response. This gives the microphone very high gain before feedback, while also making it much easier for sound engineers to manage bleed from other instruments in the vicinity. The capsule is locked into position on top of the newly designed shockmount and cannot be removed. The pop filter is also specific to the 2028 microphone.
