A movable ring allows the magnet to rotate 360 degrees. This allows the unit to attach not only to left-handed guitars but also to any metal part of your guitar, so you can tune comfortably at any angle.
An LED indicates the number of the string closest to the one you're playing, so you know at a glance which string you're tuning. When you reach the exact pitch, the upper and lower LEDs will illuminate. The upper LED will flash if you're tuned too high, and the lower LED will flash if you're tuned too low. The LED will flash more rapidly the further the tuning is from the correct pitch, and it will slow down as you approach the correct pitch.
